Hello there! I’m Mingyang, and welcome to my website. I am an aspiring software engineer currently
studying at NUS. One thing about me is that I thrive on setting clear goals and seeing them through.
Once I decide to achieve something, I stay committed no matter how tough the challenge. I believe in
perseverance. I will sit down, grind it out, and figure things out no matter how many setbacks I face.

My passion for software engineering comes from its ability to turn ideas into reality. I enjoy the
process of breaking down complex problems and building functional solutions that work. For me, every
challenge is an opportunity to learn, improve, and grow. I take pride in tackling obstacles head-on
and finding creative ways to solve problems through code.
Security Enthusiast
I have a strong interest in computer security. It fascinates me how vulnerabilities like buffer
overflows, XSS, or SQL injection can exist in systems that were designed with usability in mind but
without proper consideration for security. This is why I advocate for a security by design mindset.
I believe systems should be built securely from the ground up, not fixed only after flaws are
exposed.
Explorer
Outside of tech, I love traveling. Exploring new places, cultures, and experiences gives me a sense
of freedom and curiosity. It reminds me that there is always something new to learn beyond the
screen and motivates me to keep growing as a person.
